Safe cosmetics for children
At Toys & Baby Milano Miss Nella Italia exhibited new products in the Miss Nella line – beauty and nail varnishes – and a preview of those in the Lav Kids line, which allows children to play the daily skin care routine.
The children cosmetics line was born when it was decided to create something new in the adult nail varnishes category: a range of peel-off varnishes in order to meet the needs of women who cannot use usual varnishes on their nails for any reason.
As the company received the first samples of the adult line, it appeared clearly that the product was perfect for children: a safe varnish, with no contraindications for any adult, would allow children play mum’s imitation in a safe way. The first collection was launched six months later: six peel-off varnishes for children, with the Miss Nella la Coccinella (the Ladybird) logo, inspired by the adult line’s brand, Nella Milano.
At the end of 2015 the Nella Milano’s line production was discontinued while the first 14 colours of the Miss Nella line were introduced. In 2017, with conviction that little girls should no longer play with mum’s make-up, since their sensitive and delicate skin does not stand it, the first children’s make-up line was put onto the market.
At present Miss Nella’s catalogue features more than 100 products for little girls, including nail varnishes, make-up and accessories like the entertaining Naildrying Ladybird, the beautiful Nail Kit, the complete Beauty Case and much more.
In 2023 Miss Nella introduced Lav Kids, the first line for children’s skin care, made with attention and love employing natural substances. Designed in London and manufactured in Spain, the whole line, whose products are dermatologically tested on sensitive skins, is paraben-free.
In the future, the company plans to go on designing and manufacturing products that entertain children and reassure parents, who can let them play with safe colours and products without any worry.
