Since 2017 Flying Dreams, a specialist in the branches of party and baby articles, has been distributing many brands of toys, party products, gadgets and gifts on an exclusive basis in the Italian marketplace, where it covers the whole national territory through its sales agents’ network.
“In our booth at Toys & Baby Milano we will set up a special area featuring Guirca, the Spanish company of disguises and costumes that we represent and distribute in Italy”, says Elisa Pisacane, owner of Flying Dreams. “Particular visibility will also be given to some brands like Spain’s Lamagik (handmade dolls), UK’s Orange Tree Toys (sustainable wooden toys for the 0-3 years age range) and UK’s Hooty Balloo, whose owners are Italian, which offers high-level, very trendy party articles, with biodegradable packaging. We will also highlight plush made of recycled plastics from bottles. As concerns plush, while we notice that their production is ever more following sustainable standards, we have several different lines in stock, from the top-of-the-range highly realistic one to the classic and low-price selections”.
Flying Dreams pays great attention to the market trends: “If previously we witnessed strong demand for retro-style toys and plush, now at the forefront we find wooden toys and party articles, since baby showers and gender reveals (where parents find out the unborn child’s gender together with their guests, live), events of USA origin, have become fashionable in Italy too”, points out Pisacane, adding that UK companies are leaders in the childhood party articles category, as regards sustainable solutions as well.
