Born in 2020 (“in a rather playful way, literally”, says Chiara Premuroso, Production Director), the Dfun project at present boasts a 177-page product catalogue. During those three years the turnover of the brand, which belongs to the Dynit company, has been constantly growing and in 2023 it has witnessed an 18 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
“I believe that looking for a ‘different’, ‘fresh’ and ever new product is important, most of all in a moment when the market is facing problems and always evolving; moreover, nowadays kids do not remain loyal to a brand for long, and price is obviously essential as well”, poins out Premuroso. “But the competitive advantage that allows us to differ from the big players consists in the human resources and in the size of our work environment. Our team makes us quick, fast in choosing and reacting. The people contributing to this project are really special: their daily enthusiasm, their energy, their timely replies to the requests of our own sales force, of the buyers and – above all – of the distributors and of the individual retailer generate service and loyalty which go beyond price and product. Great effort and involvement and many achievements too make the Dfun project exciting and unique”.
At Toys and Baby Milano the brand will introduce many new proposals: “We have restructured our portfolio aiming at improved organization of the product lines, strengthening Baby Cuccioli and in particular Dinosaur Park, which now is an established license used by leading companies for promotional activities, not only in the toy branch, which create brand awareness”, states Premuroso. “Cooperation with brands we distribute on an exclusive basis, such as Comansi, Stanley and Eolo, continues and allows us to enlarge the product catalogue; we are completing new distribution deals to be announced right when Milan’s exhibition will be held”.
