WALKING BAREFOOT, WALKING WITH ATTIPAS
The child should go barefoot until he or she acquires a correct walking pattern, but in our everyday life he or she cannot always go barefoot. Attipas was born out of this need. Attipas was launched in 2011 after 7 years of research and development in collaboration with the Centre for Cognitive Behavioural Development at Seoul University.
Attipas was developed based on biomechanical knowledge of child brain development, so it allows toddlers to feel the environment under the soles of their shoes, and to move their feet and toes freely thanks to its distinctive toe box. Attipas helps correct the child’s gait by evenly distributing pressure on the foot.
Attipas is therefore a shoe designed simply to protect the child’s foot when the environment or the weather does not allow the child to go barefoot, a respectful shoe that only protects, without interfering with the child’s gait and allowing the correct development of the child’s foot. Footwear that allows free movement, Attipas is like walking barefoot.
