The seventh edition of Toys & Baby Milano was held on Sunday 12 and Monday 13 May 2024 at the Allianz MiCo pavilion at fieramilanocity.
With 5,000 buyers present, the two-day business-oriented Milanese event dedicated to the world of toys and early childhood closed the 2024 edition with an excellent +30% that bodes well for next year. In addition to 12 events including seminars, conferences and workshops, during the event the best companies were also awarded with the ‘Gioco per Sempre Awards’.
Year after year, edition after edition, the growth of Toys & Baby Milano does not stop, becoming in fact the only Italian business to business event dedicated to the world of games and toys, festivities and parties, stationery and early childhood. The balance sheet of the 7th edition attests to yet another record: an all-new pavilion for a total of 16,000 square metres fully occupied, which translates into +43% compared to the 2023 edition; an active participation of 350 different brands represented by no less than 191 companies, 27% of which from abroad. A growth in terms of international visitors of 30% for an appointment that is now a must for trade professionals, “the place to be” for all stakeholders.
Organised by Salone Internazionale del Giocattolo in cooperation with Assogiocattoli, there were 4,975 buyers at the two-day event in Milan, 7% of whom were international from 40 countries; to these were added numerous other attendees from trade agents, conference participants, and opinion leaders. There were many moments of discussion, with no less than 12 events including seminars, conventions and workshops in collaboration with leading partners – from BVA Doxa to MLD Entertainment, Sfera MediaGroup (RCS) and Circana – unique opportunities to understand what the market’s direction is and learn how to anticipate it thanks to timely studies of the latest market data and analyses of current and future trends, without neglecting aspects related to product safety.
One of the highlights was the Award Ceremony of the “Gioco per Sempre Awards”: the recognition dedicated to companies that have distinguished themselves throughout the year for creativity, sensitivity and efficiency is one of the many activities that Assogiocattoli has been carrying out for several years thanks to the Gioco per Sempre campaign, the project that supports the culture of play and supports the seasonal adjustment of a market that is often tied to classic holidays. With no less than 69 companies in the running and 84 products in nomination among games, toys, costumes and gadgets, the honours were awarded by a jury of industry experts, who cast their votes and decided on the 14 winners among 11 categories and 3 special prizes.

Those who were unable to attend live for reasons of time, geography or work could count on the full-digital edition.
The Toysbabymilano.com/en/plus platform for the 5th year in a row (active for a fortnight from 27 May to 7 June) offered a further option: full of special content, videos, presentations, interviews and insights of all kinds from the live event.
