We use battery-fed devices all the time and we are surrounded by them, often without even realizing it. Our daily life depends on our devices properly running and batteries determine that: the games and toys world is especially energy-intensive in those terms. Inside such environment, the GP brand operates as a thought leader in order to change the batteries market making it more sustainable, most of all as regards children and the future.
“Thanks to the research and development competence and to a world-level production which provides reliable high-quality products, GP also does its best to make consumers and retailers aware of the importance of wise consumption, knowing that everybody’s contribution may mean a big change for society”, says Francesca Callegari, Go to Market Manager GPBM Italy and Finland.
At Toys & Baby Milano 2024 the group focused on the ReCyko batteries range, but there was more: “GP is the third batteries manufacturer in the world and the first one as to rechargeable and specialized products”, informs Callegari. “With a view to offering responsible and more sustainable energy solutions we launched a call to action supporting such engagement through our BatteriBoet scheme which is free for those who choose to agree to our initiative at the fair. In order to better illustrate the plan we have also arranged the ‘Let’s give energy to a greener tomorrow!’ workshop, held on Monday May 13th from 11:00 to 13:00 a.m. at the Rocket room, in three half an hour sessions in order to keep our guests not too long, during which we awakened the audience to the important role each of us can play in promoting a greener future. Some introductory information as to BatteriBoet may be found on our LinkedIn page, GP Batteries Italy”.
